learning opportunities

Online Courses

Our professional learning opportunities provide unique experiences which connect educators, Explorers, and young people.

We help you build knowledge, develop leadership skills, and cultivate empathy – to inspire generations of global citizens who continuously seek and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing problems.

Teaching and Learning

Develop new skills on your own or as part of a global community with free online professional learning courses for educators, Explorers, and young people ages 16-25. Courses range in content, length, and schedule, and are open to learners from anywhere in the world. In many of our courses, learners can earn graduate credits through National Geographic university partnerships.
