Tell Stories that Lead to Action
By the end of the workshop experience, your team will present a story using a blend of text, imagery, video, audio and maps. - How to plan, structure and build a digital story
- Best practices for blending maps, images, video and narrative text
- Techniques for clarity, accessibility and engagement in multimedia formats
- Creative ways to use geographic context to enhance storytelling
Learn the Explorer Mindset From the Experts
When someone is in my workshop, I try to make them focus on what their interests are and what they’re passionate about. Instead of figuring out what stories other people think are important. If something is important to you, you’ll be able to explain it in a way that makes it important to someone else.
Learn the strategies you need to turn research and data into visuals and captivating multimedia.
This workshop is offered as a 1-Day or 3-Day experience.
In our 1-Day Foundational Workshop, your team will learn to draft and present a story harnessing the art of story mapping that integrates narrative text with a selection of rich media: still imagery, video, audio, or maps.
Dive deeper with a 3-Day Comprehensive Mastery Workshop, where your team will learn to create and present a polished multimedia story built around a professional project or campaign.
I had in mind that it was going to be just another how-to-tell stories workshop. But this was way different. It was very practical and the approach was unique. I had to unlearn and relearn a lot of things. So nerve wracking but really impactful.
