In this video, award-winning multimedia journalist and audio producer Katie Thornton chooses her subject. Katie believes that in a post-COVID world, her community needs a new Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) to help people rebuild their connections to each other and the earth. But what is the history and legacy of the CCC in Minnesota and how do we improve upon the past? To answer that question, Katie does extensive research.

This video was developed in partnership with Adobe, as part of a series of courses called Storytelling for Impact.
