Despite their name, whip spiders are not actually spiders. While they do have the requisite eight legs, the front two have evolved into antenniform that can extend up to 60 centimeters (two feet) long! Join Behavioral Neuroscientist Verner Bingman as he works to learn more about how these "spiders" use their whip-like appendages to navigate.
