Cheetah Matchmaker
Conservation biologist Vincent van der Merwe works with the Cheetah Metapopulation Project in South Africa. He works on relocating cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) to increase their chances of reproduction. Human encroachment on cheetah habitat has caused interbreeding which results in reproductive health problems. By physically moving male cheetah to different areas they can maintain genetic integrity.
