ONLINE COURSES FOR EDUCATORS
YOUR LEARNING JOURNEY WITH NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC
To align our future Education work more closely with our new NG Next strategy, we are making changes to the online learning course offerings that are currently available. As part of this effort, National Geographic’s Paced, Self-Paced, and Adobe Storytelling for Impact Online Learning Courses will be retired on the NovoEd platform as of December 31, 2023.
Current paced courses will continue uninterrupted and end on December 31, 2023 as planned. Enrollment is also still available for a limited time for the following courses below: self-paced short courses, Storytelling for Impact courses, and the Citizen Science course.
START YOUR LEARNING JOURNEY
New to National Geographic’s professional learning offerings for educators? We recommend you begin with our mini-courses on the Explorer Mindset and Geographic Thinking Skills. Both are free, self-paced, and take approximately two hours to complete. The courses will introduce you to the guiding questions such as:
- How do National Geographic Explorers see the world? Why is this relevant to your learners?
- How can thinking like a geographer give learners a more complete understanding of the world and how it works?
Note: Final registration for these courses will be 12/15/2023, providing users the full two weeks required by these courses to complete them. Courses end on 12/31/2023.
