    About National Geographic on Campus

This year, we’ve launched National Geographic On Campus, a series of programs designed specifically for university audiences.

Our goal is to inspire big ideas and empower the next generation of changemakers by connecting students with National Geographic’s worldwide community of explorers, scientists, storytellers, and educators. These multiday science and storytelling events, developed in collaboration with each participating institution, are geared to both undergraduate and graduate students from across the university.

This program offers universities the opportunity to partner closely with National Geographic, which in turn creates a unique chance for your students to imagine a future in science, science communication, filmmaking, and education.

This two-day program—World Without Borders—will feature dynamic talks by National Geographic Explorers, local journalists, scientists, politicians, and UM faculty; networking opportunities; social events; and a full day of hands-on workshops to amplify what students are learning in the classroom. National Geographic will also provide information about projects and grant programs open to young explorers in a variety of disciplines.
