Kelly Moore

Kelly Moore is a marine ecologist and professional scuba diver with extensive expertise in ocean research and exploration. A recognized expert in safety program management, she has implemented new protocols to support complex field operations in challenging environments. Before joining National Geographic Pristine Seas, Moore spent 18 years with the United States National Park Service leading diving and boat safety programs across the Pacific and overseeing operations in remote and isolated locations. She conducted extensive monitoring and research in temperate, tropical and polar waters. Moore has a degree in biological sciences from the University of California Santa Barbara.
