Katharine joins NGS from The Nature Conservancy, where she spent 11+ years using her legal expertise to support conservation initiatives across Latin America, the Caribbean, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. She's passionate about making sure the legal details are handled so the people out in the field can focus on what they do best!

Katharine grew up in the DC area and has since returned home, where she now lives with her husband and two delightful kids. Outside of work, she feeds her sense of adventure — even while stuck in the suburbs — by getting lost in the woods with her best friend whenever possible.
