Program Requirements and Evaluation Criteria

Instructions
  • All of the following items must be complete to complete the program.
  • You must receive a score of 3 or above in each capstone video assessment criterion to complete the program.
  • If either of the above requirements are not satisfied, you may resubmit at any time for review at the next submission deadline.
  • See the Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 pages for details about each phase.

Submission Dates

We will review submissions three times during the year: in the fall, winter, and spring. Your work will be reviewed within the month following each season’s closing submission date. 

Sign up below for the season during which you’d like to complete the program. If you are unable to complete your work during this time, don’t worry! You may sign up for a later season at any time. We accept submissions on a rolling basis.

Winter-Spring Cohort Dates: January 9 - March 31, 2017 – Registration is closed.
You may complete your work at any time during the above dates. You will receive a review by May 1.

Spring-Summer Cohort Dates: April 10 - June 30 – Registration is closed.
You may complete your work at any time during the above dates. You will receive a review by July 30. 

Fall Cohort Dates: September 1 - November 30 Sign up here.
You may complete your work at any time during the above dates. You will receive a review by December 15.


Capstone Video Assessment Criteria

The following items are prerequisites for your capstone video to be assessed. If you do not meet any of these three requirements, you will be asked to revise and resubmit for the next submission date.

  • The capstone video is 2-6 minutes long.

  • The capstone video, lesson plan, and photos of student work are submitted with the multimedia reflection form and on the Google+ community.

  • The capstone does not show student faces.

If you receive below a 3 on any of the following capstone criteria, you will be asked to revise that item and resubmit for the next submission date.
