Mark is the CIO and managing partner of ThornTree Capital Partners, a global investment fund. Prior to launching ThornTree in 2016, Mark was a managing director at Bain Capital for 15 years, where he led growth consumer industries including internet, consumer technology and communications for Bain Capital Public Equity. Prior to Bain Capital, Mark was a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.

Mark graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Engineering and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the National Geographic Society and is a board member of companies in technology, healthcare and consumer products. Mark and his wife Inna have three children and live in Boston.
